Why the name b engaged? The formation of b engaged consulting in 2003 was driven by my passion to:

  • Work with progressive organizations that want to create an environment that attracts and retains the best minds
  • Work with individuals who want to raise the bar in their careers

My own experience, working in the high tech sector for over a decade, was fast-paced and exciting but often less than satisfying. It was characterized by inconsistent management, uninspired leadership and a general disconnect, between the work of so many of my talented colleagues, and the company's direction.

As a management consultant, I have consistently found that at least 75% of the employees I meet at client sites are totally unaware of the company goals, where their work fits in and how they are doing in terms of their contribution. This inevitably leads to discontent and job dissatisfaction.

I believe there is a better way to work.

In an organization, engagement can only occur where employees work in an environment that is stimulating, relevant and supportive.

On a personal level, engagement is recognizing your strengths as an individual, making a commitment to life long learning and actively making a contribution to an organization.

The majority of my work comes primarily through word-of-mouth referrals which I take great pride in. I set very high standards for my work and my goal is 100% client satisfaction.
